Dealing with Wonderful People who can at times be quite Difficult.

This seminar can be customized to emphasize relationships with either internal, external customers or both. The defusing skills acquired will help associates to assist people while dealing with their own emotions and staying “unhooked” from the other person’s toxic energy.

  • Time to share who our difficult clients are and recognize that we are triggered by different types of people, which is impacted in part by our own attitude.
  • Shifting our experience of ‘difficult people’ and improving our capacity to meet people where they’re at. 
  • Learning about ’emotional hijacking’ and how it expresses itself in ourselves and our clients; being more curious about our difficult clients instead of just being reactive.
  • Shining a spot-light on the two most difficult types: ‘Tanks’ and ‘Grenades’, and how to relate specifically with each one.
  • Learning a bit about personality differences that can help us understand the ‘people dynamics’ at work.
  • Develop strategies for calming clients who are upset. Implement wellness practices for calming ourselves and increasing resilience.
